The Espiral Troupe graduated with a teeterboardA seesaw made of wood, or fiberglass poles tied together, which is used to propel acrobats in the air. and a Russian Barre act at the National Circus School in Havana, Cuba, in 1989. In 1990, they participated with these two acts in the 13th Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain at the Cirque d'Hiver in Paris, where they were awarded a Gold Medal for their two acts.
