Marietta Orsanigo: Born in Spain circa 1830, she was active in the 1840s in Europe, where she was a member of the circus troupe of Alessandro Guerra, with which she performed in Germany, and during Guerra's 1845 season in St. Petersburg, Russia (see: Russia's First National Circus).
