Acrobat, Object Manipulator

Born in San Francisco, Simon Chaban grew up in a family of artists, and fell in love with the circus at an early age: He turned his first back somersault at age six. He learned a full range of circus skills at San Francisco Circus Center, under the dual tutelage of a Chinese instructor, Lu Yi, and a Russian one, Serguei Zenov. He also trained in Taiko drumming, martial arts, ballet, stage combat, magic, and break dancing.

Simon Chaban has performed with San Francisco's New Pickle Circus and with Switzerland's Circus Monti, among many other venues, before creating his acrobatic staff manipulation act, which he developed by himself in 2006-2007. He has since appeared in many variety and nightclub shows in Europe and the United States, and has been featured in the French hit television variety show, Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde in 2009.
