Rola-Bola

Born Gediminas Pavlovicius in Vilnius, Lithuania, Geddy Pavlovich is a second-generation circus performer who has travelled the world with his parents since childhood. They presented a perch-poleLong perch held vertically on a performer's shoulder or forehead, on the top of which an acrobat executes various balancing figures. balancing act and, with Geddy, a comedy contortion act. The family moved to the United States when Geddy was nine.

By the time he was 11, he had chosen Rola-Bola as the specialty he wanted to pursue, and he made his debut two years later in an open-air theater in Nevada. At 6'2", his height alone sets him apart since it increases the difficulty of his balancing act (acrobats are generally short - especially those who try to balance their body!).

Geddy has performed extensively in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, China and Japan, and has been featured in Cirque du Soleil's "Wintuk" in New York City and in the hit show "Circus 1903" in Las Vegas.
