Slack Wire
A member of Beijing's China Acrobatic Troupe, Zhang Fan was the prodigy of slack wireA Tight Wire, or Low Wire, kept slack, and generally used for juggling or balancing tricks. acrobatics. He won his first Gold award at the Acrobatic Festival of Wuhan, in China, in 2000, and another Gold award at the International Circus Festival of Budapest, Hungary, in 2001. He then improved on his already exceptional act with a revolving apparatus; this new version of his remarkable display of unparalleled skills won him a Gold Medal at Paris's Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in 2003.
