Maria debuted her diabolo act at Circus Charles Knie in Germany in 2006. In 2011, she was contracted by Cirque du Soleil to perform in their production of Viva Elvis at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. She eventually settled in Las Vegas, and has since performed her diabolo act in many shows and special events in the United States.
